This particular piece holds a special place in my heart, as it first started out as a simple project for my class. But as time progressed, it became something much more significant. The project entailed that each person in the class picked a specific subject to create a survey for, and then create a poster based on our subject. The catch was that the subject had to be controversial in some way or the other, creating a fun twist on the project. When I started working on it I was pretty on the fence about abortion as a whole and picked the subject as a way to further my insight on a topic I didn't have a solid opinion on. As time marched on and I continued to work on the project, I found that I was pro-life in most situations regarding abortion, and only swayed when it came to situations of assault and other things of the same variety. This was a huge personal breakthrough for me, due to the fact that my driving reason to be pro-life was that I believe everyone deserves a chance at life and you never know what that baby could grow up to be.
